New DYNAMIK Wood Effect Vinyl chosen for Ark Soane Academy

DYNAMIK recently completed the installation of a DYNAMIK sprung system finished in a Tarkett solid wood effect sport vinyl at Ark Soane Academy. A brand-new school in Ealing, west London. Ark Soane Academy is a part of the established ‘Ark’ network. With 39 schools UK wide, Ark is now recognised as one of the highest achieving academy groups in the country.

Named after the esteemed architect Sir John Soane, Ark Soane Academy has embraced innovation to create an inspiring space for education and sports. Allowing for an enhanced educational experience. In doing this, the academy recruited DYNAMIK Sport in a leap towards fostering a conducive environment for learning and physical activities.

DYNAMIK have installed a new sprung area elastic sports floor, that ensures a consistently high sports performance as every part of the surface is equally supported by a high-density elastic layer. This was overlaid with a solid sport vinyl playing surface, finished in a beautifully timeless golden maple wood effect. This not only looks good but gives the floor a durable and easy to maintain surface that provides low maintenance costs, ideal for schools, whilst also being Sport England and ESFA compliant, it also has a high slip resistance and comes with a 25-year warranty.

DYNAMIK’s sports hall installation at Ark Soane Academy reflects a strategic approach to modernising educational spaces, demonstrating how thoughtful integration of technology and innovative flooring solutions can transform the learning landscape. The school now has a beautiful sports floor that has been line marked for multi-sport use including five a side and tennis that not only provides optimum levels of shock absorption for sport but is also perfect for non-sporting events and wheelchair use, creating a truly perfect space and sporting facility for the school.
