Designing Courts for Everyone: Inclusivity in Action

Inclusivity is central to both DYNAMIK and Glasgow 2026. Next summer’s event will host the largest Para sport programme in Games history, sharing stories of athletes and reducing barriers to participation. At DYNAMIK, our commitment to inclusivity is shown in how we design sports surfaces for wheelchair athletes. When a court is planned with wheelchair use from the start, it boosts performance, reduces injury risk, and enhances the experience for every user.

A solid, wheelchair-friendly playing surface lowers rolling resistance, helps athletes maintain speed, and reduces fatigue and muscle strain – crucial for both safety and long-term performance. But accessibility isn’t only about regulations. It represents equality, dignity and the freedom to compete without barriers.

That’s one reason DYNAMIK has been chosen to provide the 3×3-Basketball and 3×3-Wheelchair Basketball court for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
