DYNAMIK Sports Floor – A Seamless Solution

DYNAMIK were approached by Independent School, Derby High, to provide a detailed specification for the refurbishment of their existing sports flooring.

After speaking directly with the users of the sports facility and getting feedback from the schools sport and activity staff, it was decided that DYNAMIK would supply and install a new low profile, fully sprung (A4) area elastic sports floor that would simply sit on top of the existing old foam backed playing surface, without the need to uplift and dispose.  This would provide the school with a system that ticked the high-performance sport box but also provided users of the hall with high comfort and joint protection when low impact activities were being carried out within the hall.

The DYNAMIK fully sprung sports floor was finished with a solid non-foam backed @Herculan polyurethane (PU) playing surface therefore making it ideal for non-sporting use too. The solid seamless PU playing surface was chosen by the school due to the clean seamless look which when combined with the DYNAMIK line marking, really provides the wow factor and feeling of luxury. The solid playing surface also provides a surface with very high durability and indentation resistance as without a pad or foam backing, it resists most impacts and will last the test of time.
