Engineering Quieter, More Inclusive Performance at Glasgow 2026

In all levels of sport, performance is shaped by more than what you see. Underfoot and around the court or training space, the way sound behaves plays a subtle but powerful role in focus, communication, and comfort. This image shows a gym floor we’ve previously delivered – designed to perform in environments surrounded by heavy weights, where impact noise from dropped equipment is part of everyday training.

As a proud partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, DYNAMIK designs sports surfaces that not only enhance performance but also support inclusivity for all athletes. Our surfaces are rigorously tested for their acoustic properties to ensure every material and system delivers measurable benefits. Acoustic underlays absorb impact noise at the source, while carefully selected surface materials help reduce sharp, disruptive sounds without affecting play or training performance.

Floating floor systems, featuring a dedicated acoustic layer in the undercarriage, limit vibration transfer and help contain noise – even in high-impact, high-load environments like strength and conditioning spaces. Beyond the floor, our perforated walling panels and sport impact walling manage rebound noise and reverberation, creating a calmer, more predictable environment.

Together, these integrated solutions reduce sensory overload, enhance communication, and help create safer, more welcoming arenas – supporting every athlete to train and compete with confidence.
